Director, Marketing Analytics, Planning & Demand Generation – Remote

The Director of Marketing Analytics, Planning and Demand Generation sets strategic direction that drives marketing analytics, supports demand planning, leads insights generation and value-proposition development for all Aimmune Therapeutic business units. The director also leads, manages and evolves development of a holistic cross-functional point of view to address ad hoc cross-brand and/or cross-functional business questions requiring integration of input from marketing, sales, market access, patient services and primary market research.

They creates value by adding thought-leadership and driving synthesis of findings into actionable insights, elevating beyond the “what” to the “why”.

Job Responsibilities:

• Partners with disease area Franchise Heads to identify strategic priorities for the in-line and pipeline portfolio and craft analytics and insights plans that best meet the needs of the business.

Communicates clear findings and recommends appropriate action to senior director of commercial operations.

• Identifies, assesses, and advances insights into consideration as key internal and external factors that affect product performance and uptake.

Domains of impact include but not limited to: patient journey determination, assessment data sets to inform trends and opportunities, promotional marketing mix/ROI assessments.

• Leads annual Situation Analysis workshops for Brand Planning and with provides strategic input into annual brand planning processes for in-line and pipeline products.

Provides strategic input into annual International Brand Planning process which is disseminated to the local countries for tactical execution.

• Works directly with and leads financial planning (demand planning) working group with senior leadership to provide direction into demand and pricing forecast, risks and opportunities.

• Partners closely with Marketing, Demand planning, Data Management, Sales Force Effectiveness, Patient Services, and Managed Markets teams to provide expertise and insights into demand planning, reporting tools and business case assessments.

• Provides guidance on roles and responsibilities for analytics and insights roles across the US with project ownership transitions where appropriate.

• Oversees competitive intelligence activities, serving as lead partner to align findings and implications cross-functionally and internationally to inform mid and long-range demand planning efforts and creation of shared data and analytics to better mine data and understand the drivers of customer behaviors.

• Provides strategic insights and analysis to ensure clear brand strategies that address unmet need along the patient journey that will provide strategic direction, identify key insights and analytics relevant to promotional excellence, allow tracking based upon derived insights, and direction for the demand planning group to develop robust demand planning for product and trade-offs with other products in the franchise.

• Ensures best practices in marketed product and launch excellence insights and analytics by serving as a thought leader, providing strategic consulting and market perspective to key business stakeholders on strategies and risks, including significant trends, competitive positioning and consumer decision-making drivers based on thorough trend, segment and marketing analysis.

• Deep expertise in primary market research methods, data coverage, data strategy and analytics tools including appropriate patient cohort analysis and new ways to strategically leverage data and advanced analytics methods.

• Builds and maintains a culture of ongoing skill-development to ensure employee engagement and growth, while identifying and rectifying poor performance.

Preferred Experience, Special Skills, Knowledge:

• 10+ years’ experience in a Pharmaceutical Commercial Sales and/or Marketing expertise with in-depth experience of innovating and implementing successful market research, analytics, and product development strategies across multiple commercial functions.

• 5+ years of progressive people and project management; experience as a leader of leaders a plus

• Possess strong leadership, business acumen and ability to manage multiple priorities, processes, timelines and expectations of multiple stakeholder groups.

Inspire and lead innovation and synergies across teams to maximize productivity and outcomes in support of overall portfolio.

• Ability to refine team strategy based on anticipated future changes.

Projects future trends of the industry and international forces to make proactive adjustments

• A demonstrated ability to process complex information and summarize it concisely in writing and/or verbally in a professional manner and in a time-sensitive environment is required.

• Demonstrated success in development/execution of targeted briefings for executive leadership, senior management and business leaders; well-organized, highly motivated, innovative, process-driven, results oriented; outstanding oral and written communications skills.

• Proven skills as an effective team player who can engender credibility and confidence within and outside the company.

• Comprehension of commercial strategy and U.S.

launch expertise, reimbursement strategies including pricing and contracting, sales force execution and insight-gathering methodologies needed to evolve pre-launch strategy
