Duties and Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing as a Manager Research Analyst:
– Work with investment teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of investment data across asset classes
– Lead process improvements in areas critical to manager research
– Use personal and technical skills to build summary reports on platform progress, performance and status
– Independently oversee all aspects of platform data collection and integration
– Monitor diligence obligations for consistency with compliance and regulatory obligations
– Coordinate efforts surrounding elements of hiring and firing third party managers
– Oversee all quarter-end processes related to data and information gathering
– Assist in management of multi-asset strategies
– Monitor platform for consistency and data integrity
– Maintain Manager Research responsibilities across a select group of strategies
Qualifications
The preferred candidate should have at least 8 to 10+ years of knowledge /experience in manager research/due diligence on Separately Managed Accounts, Mutual Funds and ETFs, or history working in a position closely associated with this role.
The individual chosen for this position will ultimately oversee planning, development, and execution of processes designed to enhance performance and productivity of the Manager Research Team broadly.
Through these efforts, the individual chosen will work in close collaboration with the Head of Manager Research, and other supporting team members.
They will also have analytical responsibilities on a select list of managers and be provided with an opportunity to identify new investments that should be highlighted for the platform.

– Proficiency in excel and an ability to articulate a message to a broad audience
– A good instinct for global markets, economics and asset classes
– Experience in portfolio construction with ETF’s and active strategies
– Familiarity with Morningstar, eVestment Alliance, MPI stylus and Bloomberg
– Ability to interpret and present statistical information and data
