Director Lifecycle Marketing

The Director of Lifecycle Marketing will be responsible for the lifecycle function leading a team to develop strategies that will engage customers across all lifecycle stages.  This person will create the end-to-end lifecycle strategy and lead execution and optimization of event-triggered, and campaign-based messages throughout every step of the customer lifecycle, from activation to engagement, and retention to referrals.

You will oversee the development of all CRM programs, channels (email, SMS, web push notifications, retargeting, direct mail, etc.), and budget, including implementation and ongoing management of internal and 3rd party tools.

The Director of Lifecycle will develop future resource needs to match the growth of the business and recruit, develop and retain a world class team.

This person will report into the VP, Growth. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage a team to lead Parachute’s lifecycle marketing strategy
  • Think holistically across channels to maximize the retention and LTV of Parachute’s customers
  • Use analytics and qualitative insights to understand the Parachute Home customer journey and identify key segments of consumers.
  • Develop strategies to nurture customer segments along every lifecycle stage
  • Develop testing roadmap to identify the ideal channel and touchpoints to execute on lifecycle strategy
  • Recommend improvements to Parachute’s Martech stack to enhance capabilities or increase efficiency of current workstreams
  • Work cross functionally with product, merchandising and engineering teams to think big-picture about personalization and how communications and touchpoints will best be adapted to a customer or customer segment, ensuring brand consistency and strategic alignment.

Who You Are:

  • 8-10 years of experience in B2C lifecycle marketing (ideally with an analytical focus)
  • 4 years of management experience. 
  • Bachelors degree.

    MBA is a plus but not required.

  • Skilled at coaching employees at all levels (entry-level to senior-level ICs).
  • Demonstrated success partnering with product, data science, and channel stakeholders (email, sms, direct mail, CX) to deliver results.
  • Highly data-driven with the ability to design and optimize marketing programs to deliver upon overall company goals and metrics.
