Market Manager

At a Glance A driven Retail Market Specialist who loves to build relationships with customers and sales associates to help drive sales.

Individuals will be representing our client’s popular Robotic Vacuum products within well-known home furnishings, home improvement, and/or consumer electronics retailers and with your ability to approach and engage customers, while providing fun and relevant demonstrations you are able to close the sale.

What You Will Do: Train, develop and educate retail sales specialists on the features and benefits of client’s products Build and cultivate strong relationships with store associates and management as a trusted ally and brand representative Share observation, concerns, and potential solutions for what works and what can be improved, and report results daily Merchandise retail locations with visual displays and in-store promotional material Implement and troubleshoot visual merchandising Coordinate and execute special awareness and sales events at retail locations Deliver excellent sales/customer service and proactively greets, educates, and engage customers and store staff on featured products or promotions Ability to understand, retain and articulate product details in an ongoing, enthusiastic and confident manner Ability to easily connect with customers and store staff Work with store managers and sales associates in big box retail environments to develop plans that will create sales Provide impactful training and education to retail sales associates on the features and benefits of client’s products Build strong partnerships with the store sales associates, providing value through support of your assigned stores What You Will Need: High school diploma or GED, college education preferred 2 year of retail sales or customer service experience
– consumer electronics, vacuum experience a plus Proven history of closing sales and exceeding goals Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Engaging and impactful presentation and training skills Excellent written and communication skills Multitasking and analytical skills Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and detail Self-driven with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and prioritize workload Excellent time management and organizational skills Demonstrated ability work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and detail Excellent time management and organizational skills Team-player and creative, strategic thinker Strong selling and demonstrating techniques when executing demo day events Ability and willingness to work weekends Reliable transportation to travel to multiple stores Ability to complete online reports accurately and in a timely manner Access to your own tablet (iPad, Samsung Galaxy Series, and many others) which you will bring to each event is preferred Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use eyes, hands and fingers to handle, see, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms The employee is frequently required to speak English and hear The employee is generally required to stand and move around a retail environment for approximately 8 hours a day Must be able to lift 75 pounds with the ability to move, install, and/or setup product as needed in stores or for special events and trainings While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms Work Schedule and Travel Requirements: Reliable transportation to travel to multiple stores daily within assigned territory Ability to work weekends BDS Connected Solutions.
