The USC Alumni Association (USCAA) – within the Division of University Advancement – supports the overall advancement of USC by engaging alumni, building a culture of philanthropy among the Trojan Family, and being the representative voice for all USC alumni.

USC’s University Advancement – Alumni Association is seeking a Director, Lambda LGBT Alumni Association to join its team.
The Director reports to the Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations and is responsible for the day to day management and strategic direction and development of USC’s Lambda LGBT Alumni Association.
Founded in 1992, USC Lambda connects lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allied Trojan alumni to each other and to the university and raises support for scholarships and other University initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in board management, fundraising, program development, event coordination and scholarship administration.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Providing leadership for the USC Lambda LGBT Alumni Association (USCLambda), giving prominence to our USC lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and allied Trojan alumni while supporting and expanding engagement opportunities and the annual scholarship program.
Developing and executes the annual scholarship benefit to increase alumni engagement and scholarship donations while stewarding key stakeholders and donors.
Managing volunteer leaders including USC Lambda Board of Directors and other committees such as Scholarship and Mentorship.
Cultivating and maintains relationships with donors and volunteers and develops plan to expand donor base to grow Lambda’s scholarship program as well as its alumni engagement efforts.
Drafting gift or grant proposals for review or providing assistance to proposal writers.
Providing input for the development of Lambda’s fiscal year operating budget.
Manages program and event budgets.
Leveraging USC Alumni Association and University signature programs to spotlight USC Lambda and also identify and or engage potential USC Lambda volunteers, supports and donors.
Writing editing, and producing fundraising and/or marketing materials.
Developing support materials for specific fundraising activities.
Representing USC Lambda and the USC Alumni Association at professional meetings and seminars for professional development.
Performing other duties as assigned or requested.
