Director, Growth Marketing

n n nn K1 is looking for a high-horsepower, entrepreneurial Growth Marketing Director to support our portfolio’s demand creation and demand capture efforts.

This is a critical role in our operations group, where we help our portfolio create value through strategic consulting and execution support.

The ideal candidate is obsessed with marketing at scale, is outcome-oriented and has a demonstrated track record of creating stepchange growth for B2B and/or B2C businesses.  nn nn Responsibilities: nn Partner with portfolio companies to build and iterate predictable, repeatable and scalable strategies that create stepchange increases in qualified leads Define and iterate the Growth Marketing best practices that inform demand generation teams across all of our portfolio companies  Provide consultation and guidance on ways to improve the demand capture to conversion funnel (eg Conversion Rate Optimization, lead nurturing, automation).

Guide marketing investment decisions with executive teams based on marketing and sales funnel measurement Make content and marketing recommendations to optimize engagement, MQL creation opportunity development (SQL) and sales pipeline velocity and close rates Coach and mentor Demand Generation teams across the portfolio to achieve best-in-class results Provide guidance and structure to know how to forecast lead and budget plans that align to company quarterly bookings goals; create marketing plan based on annual revenue goals Define Demand Generation goals, KPIs, and budgets in alignment with K1 Deal Lead and Portfolio Executive needs nn Qualifications: nn 7+ years in a growth marketing role at a B2C or B2B SaaS company or marketing consulting firm/practice Mastery of B2B and B2C MarTech stacks (incl acquisition, conversion, CRM marketing, and automation)  Deep understanding of modern marketing techniques, including ABM, persona-based marketing, performance marketing (CPC, CPL), cross and upsell strategies, conversion rate optimization and lifecycle marketing.

Proven experience and success in scaling demand generation programs through technology, database management and multi-channel processes Extensive experience with Marketing Automation Platforms and their connection to key demand generation software like Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach and SalesLoft Demonstrated success launching and managing cost-effective marketing campaigns and strategies with clear ROI-focused metrics Proven track record of significantly scaling and demand generation strategy into a sophisticated full-scale B2C/B2B sales pipeline Strong analytical capabilities with an understanding of KPIs Experience gathering insights via SQL, Looker, Tableau or similar tools Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Company and team wide outings Volunteer opportunities and intramural K1 sports teams nn About K1: nn nn K1 is a Los Angeles-based private equity investor focusing on high-growth enterprise software companies globally.
