The Role:

The Moonbug Director, Casting & Talent Management will oversee all casting and talent management across all 18+ live action and animated IPs. This role is both internally and externally facing and is key to the success of our content.

This role will work ON-SITE at our West Hollywood office.

Responsibilities:

Gather appropriate casting specs from Development/Creative and Production teams across Moonbug IPs and content streams

Facilitate all casting calls and work with Development/Creative and Production to select talent

Manage talent schedules across production and corporate needs

Work with Production to ensure talent payment parity across streams

Work hand in hand with the Legal team to contract talent

Advise on and help draft Moonbug Talent Policies

Ensure that contracts are always up to date and follow Moonbug policies

Chiefly responsible for regularly liaising with current talent to enhance their relationships with Moonbug

Work closely with talent, including child talent, to address their daily needs, issues or concerns

Use expertise to ensure that international child labor laws are being adhered to (work permits, school hours, safety, background checks, etc)

Find creative ways of thanking and gifting talent

Requirements

5+ years experience in talent management and casting non-union talent (union experience also a plus)

Digital first, television and/or streaming casting experience for live action and animation

Has broad talent network

Has strong relationships with talent agencies and managers

Has high emotional intelligence

Is personable and stays calm under pressure

Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams

Capacity to manage a high volume of requests

Excellent prioritization skills

Thrives in a fast paced environment
