Position Objective Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Direct Project Coordinator! The Direct Project Coordinator reports directly to the Engagement Team Manager. The main role of this position is to utilize Konica Minolta methodologies and processes to ensure an exceptional “Customer Experience”. Additionally, she is responsible for the overall planning, management and completion of all tasks and projects required to support the sales process, including implementation of solutions, and quarterly client business reviews. Where applicable, the Project Coordinator collaborates with all subject matter experts and with customers to develop working documents that outline the scope of the project and overall project plan. Uses project management skills to manage project roles, identify resource requirements, meeting training needs, define project deliverables, provide customer satisfaction, reporting structures and to insure the quality of projects. Ensures effective communications and relationships between accounts and project team members. Essential Job Functions Mentors and provides expertise to Direct Sales Organization and project team members on Konica Minolta methodologies and processes. Responsible for local planning deployment of enterprise or national accounts and takes guidance from host originating engagement team. Identify, track, monitor and communicate to the engaged team members on project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of projects. Document expectations and influence in deliverables. Attend all engagement team reviews and ensure open communication with all parties involved as required to ensure full compliance and project completion. Monitor program and project elements to ensure that progress of account engagements meet expectations. Schedule and assign tasks in CRM to the sales and support team as agreed during the engagement review meetings. Document strategic meeting action items and ensure updating of all CRM records including the creation of tasks with their respective due dates. Follow-up as needed to ensure CRM tasks are completed and run daily CRM reports with open and completed tasks. Work with select accounts to identify the roles of project team members, project reporting structures, frequency of interactions and training requirements to complete projects. Develop project scope of work project management and resource coordination for successful deployment. Coordinate hardware, solution and services engagement strategies and plans. As needed, communicate with Enterprise Team Manager and Business Development Associate regarding follow up items to ensure completion. Facilitates amicable solutions with the appropriate customer(s). Work with the Direct Sales Organization to develop program strategies for select accounts including project plans with supporting elements (Analysis of benefit, cost, work schedule and any related risks). Develop required program and organize project documentation (Project plans, Scope of Work (SOW) documents etc.). Develop and publish communications to project updates to sales and service teams. Prepare and present oral andor written program and project technical reports and project presentations. Utilize current, Konica Minolta specific software and project management tools to complete assignments. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Has reasonable technical aptitude and possesses good computer skills. Excellent communication, presentation, time management and organizational skills. Great problem solving and decision-making skills. Willing to work hours required to meeting project deadlines. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Konica Minolta Business Solution personnel and customer representatives. Actively participate on Regional Strategy meetings on select accounts on a Quarterly basis. Considerable ability to give clear and consistent instructions to team members. Maintains effective communication and working relationships with customers and project team members. Considerable knowledge of and ability to utilize current word processing, spreadsheet database, e-mail and internet software. Reasonable knowledge of current hardware and software technologies and uses. Considerable ability to develop, lead, motivate and supervise working teams. Formal training in project management and tools like Clarity and Microsoft Project. Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 2 year experience in the Document Imaging Industry.
