Caltrol, Inc is looking for a full-time Digital Manufacturing Manager to join our team.
You will be responsible for overseeing multi-discipline teams of Systems Engineers as they move new technologies and features from conceptual stages to implementation.
You will play a key role in the overall success of the MES and Digital Transformation businesses by planning, managing, and monitoring engineering functions, and will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, processes, budgets, and timelines and making any necessary adjustments in order to ensure successful completion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assign tasks to multi-discipline teams of Systems Engineers Supervising the work of multiple teams of experts in MES and Digital Transformation Gauge progress of various Syncade and Digital Transformation projects Communicate effectively with customers Proactively develop customer relationships Anticipate and provide solutions to customer needs giving high priority to customer satisfaction Collaborate with and support the sales team Propose budgets for various projects Determining the need for training and talent development in MES and Digital Transformation Attend trade shows and conferences Hire, mentor, train, and supervise engineering staff members Identify, develop and deploy innovative, next-generation digital assets to add value and efficiency for our clients in the manufacturing industry.
Act as a liaison between the internal project team, internal management, sales and customer project teams and management
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
Architect and lead the implementation of digital manufacturing solutions projects Conduct workshops to analyze user requirements to define functional requirements for solutions through client interviews and documentation analysis Develop detailed designs, implement, troubleshoot and test solutions that meet client requirements Refine/optimize and follow Business Process Maps and/or User Cases for configuration of execution workflows Develop and improve processes, procedures and tools used in the execution of projects Understand the project scope and financials, and participate in the framing and quoting of projects to ensure successful project execution Identify change orders and justify changes to Project Management; resolve issues and establish priorities between projects Start-up complex systems at customers’ plants
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or the Applied Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or their scientific equivalent 10 years of engineering experience Highly organized with critical attention to details, along with good time and priority task management Understanding of digital manufacturing and enterprise solutions, networking, virtualization
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
Degree in Engineering or equivalent 15+ years of digital manufacturing solutions knowledge and implementation experience in multiple industries Experience in developing or integrating manufacturing systems (ERP, MES, OSI PI, LIMS, Data Lakes, Process and Knowledge Management software, etc.) Experience in implementing global standard/core solutions in a multi-site environment Excellent knowledge of state of the art enterprise tools and manufacturing processes Experience with multiple MES platforms such as Syncade, PAS-X, PharmaSuite, etc.
Knowledge of Networking, OPC Servers, MS SQL Server, Sandbox testing, TCP/IP, Citrix Server, Visual Basic, VMWare, HyperV, etc.
Leadership experience in global teams with direct and indirect reporting Excellent communications skills Strategic thinking and like working in an open and global environment History of successfully implementing manufacturing systems Creative, driven, hands-on and a reliable team player Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment
