We are looking for a Dell Technology Director to join our Global Enterprise Sales team in the West Region.

What will you be doing?

As a Dell Technology Director, you will be responsible for driving our Data Center solutions focused on storage, compute, cloud and workforce transformation within our Enterprise and Commercial business across the West Region.

These may include all, or portions of, infrastructure, cloud, as well as other emerging offerings.

As such, you will partner effectively with the core and cross functional teams within WWT to formulate and drive an all-encompassing strategy from an idea to a business outcome for our customers.

Responsibilities:
Focus on profitable revenue generation in storage, compute, cloud and workforce transformation products and services Initiate and lead the selling strategy, creating short and long-term plans based on research and a deep understanding of business and technology trends Expanding WWTs presence through driving relevance to customer’s key business objectives Creating Value for client account from Idea to Outcome Building and maintaining ‘decision maker’ relationships at Customer and Partners (OEMs) Driving WWT core team enablement and education in our cloud and workforce transformation solution offerings

Competencies:

Initiative and Drive: Willingness and ability to initiate new campaigns with clients and account teams in a co-selling motion.

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of and ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes for customer solution; deep knowledge of storage, compute, cloud and IT operating models, and how infrastructure can impact the customer’s cloud journey.

Critical Thinking: Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to address sales challenges and new opportunities; taking courses of action based on sound analysis and judgment that appropriately consider customer and partner (OEMs) business capabilities and issues, available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances and probable consequences.

CXO Relevancy: Adding value by proactively identifying business opportunities for the customer/partner (OEM), conveying a firm understanding of the customer’s business and political drivers, displaying executive presence by building rapport and credibility; effectively influencing other people to accept a solution; clearly connecting solutions to business needs.

Strategic Business Planning: Demonstrating knowledge of WWT and the industry; developing strategies that leverage opportunity growth and creation with cross functional team.

Consulting & Partnering: Helping external clients and partners (OEMs) to understand their business needs, offering advice and solutions, and operating from a position of expertise balanced with a collaborative approach.

Building Influential Relationships: Working collaboratively with customers, partners (OEMs), and cross functional team members to meet business goals and objectives; using appropriate communication methods to influence others and establish relationships.

Business and Financial Acumen: Understanding basic business financial strategies, performance indicators, and applying that knowledge to client’s economic and buying environment.

Qualifications:

· Must be very familiar with Dell and VMware technology solutions

· A Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent experience is required.

A Master of Science Degree, or an MBA is preferred.

· 7-10 Years Sales Experience in Relevant Industry (or Equivalent)

· 3-5 Years of Technical Sales Experience in software and/or cloud solutions preferred

· Candidate will need to be located in/around one of the following areas; Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver or Phoenix.
