Commercial Sales Consultant A leader in the Building Materials industry is looking for a Commercial Sales Consultant to maintian existing business and develope new relationships with builders, architects, contractors and commercial organizations.

The Commercial Sales Consultant’s primary duty is to conduct outside sales within their assigned territory.

This includes hunting for new customers as well as retaining and generating account growth within existing customers.

Responsibilities: Prospecting for new business to achieve sales goals Generate growth within existing accounts through excellent relationship building Actively network and represent the company and it’s products at professional and industry events and meetings Strive to build strong customer relationships by engaging in a consultative sales process.

Respond to client concerns while striving to achieve first-time resolution to all client problems and issues.

Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure successful after sale service requirements and installations.

Maintain an exceptional level of expertise on products, services and the competitive landscape Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor degree or related experience Experience selling to the commercial building material trade industry Proven success in securing and managing complex sales projects Proven track record of successful sales “hunting” experience, including cold calling, networking and referral generation Demonstrated ability to build value and address objections towards closing a sale Skilled at networking and developing new relationships Proven ability to build trust and reliability with customers that contribute to developing long standing partnerships and generating referrals Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university or two to four years of related experience, including commercial sales and technical product expertise Focused on details and follow through able; able to manage long sales cycles Tenacious able to persevere through challenges and setbacks Excellent influencer, able to convey value proposition Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment Able to accurately read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings A demonstrated record of a strong work ethic Excellent communication skills A motor vehicle record that will comply with company requirements
