JMF Development is a real estate development and property management company established in 1994 and headquartered in Downtown Los Angeles.

JMF’s activities include management of our current portfolio, which includes, office, apartment buildings and high-end residential beach homes as well as currently developing a ground-up, mixed-use high-rise comprised of a hotel and residential living.

We are also affiliated with Citrus, LLC, a hospitality group that develops and manages high-end restaurants and bars that include Perch LA (www.perchla.com) and Mrs.

Seeking

JMF Development is looking for a dynamic, talented, and experienced Leasing Manager to be part of our Real Estate team.

The primary focus of the leasing manager is leasing our Office Portfolio and our luxury short-term homes portfolio located in Malibu as well as other duties across the portfolio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Commercial Portfolio
Execute marketing and leasing strategies as well as work with the Director of Real Estate to develop and implement new strategies and programs.
Monitor and update all online marketing portals, including all media and social media channels to promote the properties.
Source new tenants through cold calling, tenant brokers, marketing, networking, and prospecting.
Build strong relationships within the brokerage community
Develop and build referrals to promote JMF properties
Shop competition to keep abreast of local market conditions.

Generate competitive market reports
Prepare daily and weekly leasing lead/activity reports and pricing recommendations
Supply property information, tour space and provide accurate and complete lease rates
Work with prospective tenants on layouts and other collateral requested
Qualify prospects by determining their needs, eligibility, and desirability.
Negotiate deal terms, letters of intent, and leases to maximize each deal to conform with company goals and leasing objectives including amendments and renewal
Manage the letter of intent process.

Redraft/revise LOIs.

Write and produce all technical language for letters of intent.
Manage and direct the lease process from the first draft to execution
Liaison between tenants/tenants’ attorneys/ tenant’s brokers/ construction teams/property management.
Work closely with Tenant Coordinators regarding Tenant permitting, tenant improvements,
Coordinate when needed with architects in preparing Lease Outline Drawings, lease exhibits, technical elevations, etc.
Work on Lease renewals
Prepare Letter of Intents, Leases, Amendments, Renewals and other Contracts
Interfacing with other departments including Property Management, Construction, Accounting and Acquisitions
Working when needed with Legal on Leasing, Renewals, Amendments, and Contract Agreements
Follow up on that Tenant Improvements are completed on schedule
Qualifications:
2-3 year’s leasing experience
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Knowledge and understanding of the commercial leasing process
Thorough understanding of all aspects of formal lease documents
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, integrity, personal appearance, and exercise confidentiality in all areas of performance
Works well independently as well as in a team
Can handle a high paced, high demand working environment
Ability to multi-task successfully and execute tasks from start to finish
Short term leasing experience with Airbnb, VRBO a plus.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00
– $80,000.00 per year
