As Abbott Biowearables is entering the market, the main purpose of the Commercial Director role is to continue to build and expand business operations and the digital infrastructure as well as to drive new business through partnerships and channels.

This includes further building and leading the commercial team.

What You’ll Do Develop and maintain commercial operations to ensure efficient, timely and smooth product flow with b2b customers, direct to consumers and with other Abbott divisions Own, lead and implement the launch of the global direct to consumer online store with full responsibility for front and back office, including order processing, product flow, financial accounting and infrastructure set-up and management of customer data base for promotional purposes Own and develop global customer service, including customer inquiries, complaint handling, product replacement, as well as contracting with service providers, budget ownership and KPI reporting Monitor the biowearable and related market and technology landscape and contribute to defining the growth strategy for the biowearable business Identify and evaluate partners/channels based on the growth strategy, gain internal alignment, and execute deals Establish and maintain excellent relations with key stakeholders in local and international functions Plan, manage and execute the commercial operations budget, and be responsible for monthly and quarterly accuracy of budget execution Measure, monitor, report and proactively improve KPIs of the areas in responsibility Build and lead a team of commercial operations and business development talent Education and Experience You’ll Bring Required: 7-12 years on-the job, must include hands-on DTC e-commerce CPG and med device experience preferred Cross-regional experience a plus (e.g.

US and EU/APAC) Bachelor and 7-12 years or MBA and 6-10 years Hands-on, proven experience in operations management Project management experience and strong track record in set-up and management of complex infrastructural changes or launches Deep knowledge of financial and business process management Negotiation skills combined with an ability to influence at all levels and build constructive relationships with key stakeholders in matrix organizations Ability to work in multitasking environment, structure and prioritize tasks Teamwork and leadership skills Presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver key messages with impact Preferred: Masters Drgree Consulting experience a plus, but must have hand-on business experience What We Offer At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
