Job Title: Director of NursingFLSA Status: Exempt *Reports To: *Corporate Office Staff (Each category to the proper corporate director)For appropriate candidate, Administration will be flexible with requests to modify the number of homes or pay structure.MUST have Sub-Acute experience (with Vent and Trach Dep Patients)CLHF Homes is seeking RN’s to hold the position of Director of Nursing/Administrator for our 6-bed sub-acute facilities in the San Fernando Valley Area.
Candidates must be Highly Motivated and Career oriented with excellent clinical and leadership skills.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential function listed below.
Plan and organize the daily functions of the facility.
Available 24/7 by phone, unless another qualified RN has been scheduled to be available.
Complete preadmission resident evaluations at their current place of care if needed.
Participate in the development and updating of the interdisciplinary plan of care.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, licensing requirements and all company policies and procedures.
Maintain staffing levels within regulations and budgetary guidelines.
Admission process and resident files Interdisciplinary team conferences and discharge planning Ensure that all safety Policies and Procedures are followed at all times, including timely completion and submission of all incident and accident reports.
Ultimately responsible for assuring that all resident and staff records are kept complete, organized, and confidential.
Initiate and manage emergency procedures.
Perform other related duties and activities as required by the Director of Operations.
Travel is required.CLHF Standards:CLHFs are required to conform to: 1) H& S Code, Section 1267.13; 2) CCR, Title 22, skilled nursing regulations – except for those sections or portions of sections specified in H& S Code, Section 1267.13(n) as CLHF’s are exempted.
