Job Title: Business Development Manager Department: Partnership MarketingReports To: CEO FLSA Status: ExemptLocation: Los Angeles, CA Position Summary:JibJab is looking for a Business Development Manager to source, sign and manage distribution partnerships.
You will report to the CEO and your efforts will be critical to driving customer acquisition and revenue growth for the company.
As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the Product and Creative teams to grow our subscriber base and develop strategic partnerships on behalf of our brand.
You are a highly motivated, data-driven individual with experience and a passion for digital marketing.
Responsibilities:+ Identify and develop distribution partnership prospect pipeline (in tandem with senior leadership) including top target companies, vertical categories and key points of contact.
Determine key decision makers and stakeholders+ Lead partnership prospect outreach efforts via phone calls, video conferencing, e-mail and face-to-face meetings with prospective partners.
Coordinate initial discussions and provide prospects an overview of the JibJab partnership value proposition.+ Develop and refine presentation materials (pitch decks) to give prospects that explain JibJab Partnership value proposition and success stories.+ Manage and update partnership prospect pipeline to determine where resources should be best allocated on which opportunities.
Provide feedback and updates to senior management on the status of current prospects to help determine next steps and closing tactics.+ Negotiate key deal points of distribution partnerships including: economic revenue shares, implementation requirements, terms and conditions, etc.+ Create and manage automated reports for both external and internal stakeholders to gauge performance and success of partnerships.+ Ensure proper payments and ongoing compliance of deal terms including implementation requirements, branding, volume metrics etc.Qualifications:+ Bachelor?s Degree, preferably in Marketing or Advertising; or equivalent work experience+ 2+ years of experience in partner facing roles including Sales, Business Development, Account Management and Partner Management+ Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook+ Highly motivated with a strong desire to meet or exceed expectations+ Exceptional time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing work items; while effectively managing changing priorities+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment+ Innovative thinker and collaborative team playerSalary and Benefits:+ Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits+ Down-to-earth, genuinely nice, and wickedly smart team of colleagues+ Casual, fun, work-hard/play-hard environment+ Free laundry service ?
