You will also create and maintain customer relationships, provide customer solutions, and establish yourself as an expert to the customer.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities Ensure that the New York Tri-State area market meets or exceeds its monthly revenue and lead targets Establish and develop relationships with area schools, districts, PTA organizations, college bound programs and local corporations Create a field marketing strategy for the territory, and ensure that all partner schools have the right marketing support for events, classes, and practice tests Set up speaking engagements, group classes, and practice tests to generate new business Research and attend trade shows, college fairs, and other community events to generate leads Identify opportunities with schools and districts to generate new business, respond to requests for proposals, present to school district personnel Remain abreast of industry trends, competitive products, and opportunities for expansion Collaborate with the marketing team to support national or local campaigns Participate in regular check-in and All Hands meetings Meet monthly revenue targets and measurable non-revenue objectives Business Development Manager Qualifications Bachelor&039;s Degree required 3 years of sales experience required Educational sales / institutional sales experience required Excellent communication and presentation skills required Ability to travel in the New York Tri-State area required
