Job OverviewBuchanan Technologies has an exciting opportunity available for an interim Regional Technology Manager.
This role is based out of the LA area with coverage as far north as San Francisco supporting a large automotive client and their west coast locations.
The Manager will provide leadership to the organization in supporting technology solutions.
The Team Member will supervise and provide direction for technology applications, communications (voice and data), and computing services at assigned properties.
The interim Regional Technology Manager will ensure the support of technology is aligned with the overall technical vision of the corporation, meets the business goals, and streamlines operations while adhering to hardware and software standards.
Responsibilities for Regional Technology ManagerOversee the IT operations of multiple store branchesOversee existing Field Technicians through their management to ensure they are prioritizing tickets and project initiatives to align their milestones to the company objectivesThe Regional Technology Manager meets with dealership department managers, gather feedback, and ensure each location’s priorities are documented in tickets and properly prioritizedUphold company standards of excellence and service, guaranteeing quality performanceDisseminate, organize, and communicate regarding assignments and projects within upper managementLead the objectives for the team and how those objectives are going to be accomplishedDirect staff to accomplish the organization’s mission, goals, and objectives through motivation, communication, group dynamics, and leadershipThe RTM (Regional Technology Manager) advises upper management of department’s progress and advise them on key issues to help the decision-making processProvide direction and leadership to Team Members within the defined IT support functionsOwn and handle IT-related projects.The RTM assess actual performance against standards to resolve whether the cluster (department, team, project) is on target to reach goals and take corrective actions as necessaryOperate within established budgetary parametersQualifications for Regional Technology ManagerFive (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or a related fieldTwo (2) years of project coordination experienceExperience in IT end-user support including PC, Laptop, Tablet, and iOS devicesExperience in network infrastructure support and understanding of network cablingBuchanan Technologies provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, or genetics.
