Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services Government (BGS-G) organization is seeking a Senior Program Management Specialist (Level 5) to support our P-8A Sustainment Program.
In this role, the focus will be on ensuring the healthy functioning of the business in terms of execution and financial performance, leading teams of interdivisional and cross-functional stakeholders to accomplish various projects and initiatives, and developing new product offerings and strategies to capture additional business.
This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting.
The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position ResponsibilitiesDuties will include (but are not limited to):Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.G., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)Takes responsibility (including performance management & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational the goals and objectivesDevelops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovationEnsures solutions are consistent with organization objectivesIdentifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirementsEnsures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per planProvides assessment of team performance to appropriate managementProvides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plansProvides input of team member performance to management, where appropriateServes as subject matter expert to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectivesBuild and maintain effective working relationships external customers and internal stakeholders This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.
Security Clearance for which the U.S.
Government requires U.S.
Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S.
Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):Bachelors degree or higherExperience in a role requiring project / program management skillsExperience working in a cross functional environmentExperience with developing and delivering presentations to Senior LeadersExperience coordinating the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serving as liaison between project and team, finance, planning, scheduling and managementExperience working in military logistics and/or working contracts with U.S.
Department of Defense Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):Experience with program management best practices (planning, scheduling, base-lining projects, and/or base-line management)Experience partnering with a United States Government (USG) Department of Defense (DoD) customer to deliver services and productsWorking with multiple customers and stakeholders in a dynamic fast-paced environmentExperience working in a cross-functional environment with multi-disciplined teams, including engineering logistics and project managersExperience assisting government proposals teamsExperience implementing lean principles Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.G.
Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.G.
Master+13 years’ related work experience, 19 years’ related work experience, etc.).
