Title: Beverage Manager / Leading Sommelier
Salary: $4,500 USD/ month TAX FREE plus $1.5-2.5k/month in service charge + tips, private accommodation, medical benefits, relocation, repatriation, meals onsite, 18 days vacation
Status: Single preferred
Location: The Caribbean
Work Week: 6 days
This is an amazing opportunity to work with a multi award winning 5-star resort group in the Caribbean.
Our client requires an experienced Beverage Manager & Sommelier with excellent cellar management skills to oversee their extensive wine and beverage operations.
We are looking for a self-starter who is not only exceptionally passionate, but also excels in the business side of things, managing complex inventory and vendor relationships.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and management of the wine cellar and beverage operation.
You will be service oriented, extremely hands on, and have the ability to achieve the highest customer satisfaction and quality service.
To be considered for this position the ideal candidate will have;
American or Canadian passport with international experience Managed large complex cellars with over $1M in value WSET level 3 or Court of Master Sommelier certification A jovial nature and easy to get along with Strong cellar management skills, just as strong in administration as you are in sales Equal knowledge of North American and European wines
