Bad A$S General Manager

“Without new ideas, success can become stale.”
– Anthony Bourdain

Pardon our little bait and switch…

We tried titling this listing as “Director of Hospitality”, but WTF does that even mean?

Instead, let’s paint a little picture for you:

No more late late nights or too early mornings…

No more weekly inventories to process.

No more entitled VIPs to manage, or handsy divas behind the bar f-ing up your pour cost…

No more feeling like the owners who sign your salary checks view you as another replaceable cog in a wheel who isn’t getting it done.

My dear hospitalitarian friend, your days as the thankless head of the management team are over once you join our dynamic team at Trufl…

Let us rescue you from the monotony of the day-to-day management grind, and welcome you into the (crazy) world of technology and start-ups, with a hospitality lean, ‘cuz we still love what we do…

This is a very rare opportunity to apply your love of the industry, management, recruiting, training, leadership and people skills to a role with an emerging tech company, instead of being tied down to the same brick and mortar, day after day after day.

An opportunity to build, develop and manage a team of like-hearted professionals who work in our partner restaurants.

An opportunity to work WITH the bosses and decision makers and not FOR them.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to grow with a company on the rise, take a long DEEEEEP breath from operations, and work with some industry folks who have built a game-changing new platform, we would LOVE to connect.

Trufl is a rapidly-growing new app (and reservation/floor management tool) that lets guests skip the waitlist and be seated quicker at the busiest restaurants, bars and clubs in town, and we’re looking to hire a Director to help us grow and manage the LA market, achored by commitments from some of the top hospitality groups and concepts in town.
