Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following: Lead a specific practice area within various industries including but not limited to SEC, middle market private and small business Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, prepare a final product that requires minimal review by Partners Advanced technical knowledge of accounting and reporting standards; is considered the ‘go-to’ person on the engagement Identify audit and risk management issues and propose potential solutions through research and collaboration with Quality Review and Engagement Partner Stay current on technical and industry developments and standards while evaluating potential impacts on their client engagements Review audit procedures, workpapers and financial statements of staff with limited supervision from Partners Train and mentor Senior and Staff, answer questions from staff and engagement team, as well as client and engagement partners Communicate effectively with clients; challenge client data when necessary in a respectful and appropriate manner; develop long and positive client relations Lead engagement planning meetings with team, identify strategic staffing structure for efficient scheduling Fully versed in firm’s history and service offerings; attends firm Marketing events Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field CPA 10 years of experience in a similar role Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and also work well with others Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in Accounting Software Experience
