This newly formed organization will focus on engaging with and understanding K-12 and Higher Education customer needs, identifying business partners, expanding AT& T’s overall presence in the market, and delivering solutions.To become a trusted advisor to Education centric organizations and institutions, this team will require experienced sales leaders to focus on positioning and deal shaping of opportunities.
As we rapidly and strategically build a best-in-class Sales organization, our team will consist of Education specialists driving innovation within the segment and helping customers capitalize on and understand recent Congressional stimulus funding.This is an opening for a Sales Director 2:The Sales Director-Education’s primary responsibility is overseeing a team of Sales Managers and Customer Sales Executives supporting AT& T products and services to the K-12 and Higher Education customers.
This is a Sales leadership position accountable for driving sales and revenue growth.
You will be responsible for directing sellers in areas of funnel management and pipeline.
You’ll formulate sales strategies/strategic planning with acquisition sellers to close sales and participate in customer visits with acquisition education specialists to close new business as needed.
This is a sales management compensated position with approximately 10 direct reports, four of which will be Sales Managers with their own direct reports.
You will be responsible for coaching and developing sellers with a total organizations size of approximately 50 subordinates.Education: Typically a Bachelors or Advanced degree is preferred.
Experience: Typically requires 10 or more years of experience and at least two years of management responsibility.
