Assistant Stage Manager – Part Time

The Assistant Stage Manager for Shows and Atmosphere will assist in the daily operation of the shows and atmosphere product at the Disneyland Resort. Your responsibilities will range from being part of a running crew on a stage show to being an assistant to our many atmosphere shows performing during the day.

The starting pay rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities :
You will

  • Have Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager or Production Assistant experience in a theatrical environment
  • Ability to work successfully as an individual contributor and in a team environment
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm and organized during high-stress situations.
  • Well organized, adaptable, and proactive
  • Demonstrate ability to be a problem solver
  • Demonstrate relationship and team building skills
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
  • Demonstrate computer skills and understanding of current technology.
  • Demonstrate ability to take initiative
  • Understand how to “manage in the gray” and be able to make quick and decisive decisions when necessary
  • Uphold the standards of Disney Entertainment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BFA in Technical Theater or other related course of study

Required Education :

  • High school degree or equivalent.

Preferred Education :

  • BA/BFA in Theater or other related course of study.

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am.
