$250 Sign-on Bonus AccessCNY is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Residential Program in the Syracuse area Assistant Manager duties and responsibilities: Assist program manager with the oversight of staff in the performance of their job duties.
Monitors completion of paperwork and assignments.
Assists with day to day operations of the IRA as directed by the Program Manager.
Shares on-call responsibilities with Program Manager Assisting clients with daily living skills, including bathing and dressing Encourage skill building activities Supporting participants with decision making and advocacy skills Completing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, washing dishes and tidying Helping plan client appointments and organize a schedule Shopping for groceries and preparing meals that meet specific client dietary needs Encouraging client engagement in social networks and communities Assistant Manager skills and qualifications: Attention to detail, especially when adhering to specific protocols and rules while carefully following instructions to care for the needs of the client Integrity to ensure clients feel safe and comfortable when tending to personal activities such as helping them bathe Trustworthiness and dependability so clients and their families feel comfortable relying on them Interpersonal skills when working with clients, including having compassion and being sensitive to their emotional needs when they are in extreme distress or pain Physical stamina when performing tasks such as lifting or turning their clients Must be at least 18 years old Must have a valid New York State driver’s license High School Diploma/GED and 1 year of experience with working with people with disabilities is required AccessCNY offers a competitive benefits package Employee Referral Program Paid Time Off (PTO) Accrual Starts Day 1 Health, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance 401k retirement program with employer match Paid Training HP21 Equal Opportunity Employer
