Job Description
We’re looking for a social media content creator with short-form video story-telling chops and an eye for design.
In a previous world, this role would be called Art Director, but this is more than that.
Yes, we need you to work closely with a writing partner to concept ideas that answer client briefs, but more importantly, we need you to have a deep understanding of the latest social platforms and the content that engages people on those platforms.
(A love for cars, automotive events, and automotive enthusiasts is also a plus.)
Then, we need you to make that content.
Literally.
A good portion of your job may be hands-on.
Shooting, editing, captioning.
Sometimes on the fly.
Turnarounds on projects can vary from hours to months.

Your knowledge of the platforms should be deep enough that you know how to push them to their limits.

Day to Day you will likely:
Develop and advocate for unique, award-winning communications Deliver ideas and work that exceed creative expectations and client business goals Make client presentations Contribute to new business pitches Stay current regarding client’s business, industry landscape and product strategy and information Prepare all comps and approved files for transfer to production or studio when needed Oversee and/or approve the process of creative production Work with production to carry out multiple projects, and oversee the work of directors, photographers, digital artists, CGI studios, and illustrators.
Qualifications
Experience:
1–3-year agency experience We’re looking for a portfolio of ideas on an award-winning level. Current knowledge of all relevant software and social apps/channels, including: Adobe PS, ID, Premiere, etc.
Additional content capture apps like Filmic Pro Additional editing apps (from TikTok’s editor to Premier Rush and others) A broad understanding of the social landscape is critical, as is a practical knowledge of executing work in the space.
Portfolio or reel must include work on a luxury brand or previous automotive experience and must be verifiable.
Skills and Abilities: Able to develop on-strategy and fresh conceptual ideas and design that surpass conventional advertising industry standards. Must have strong communication skills both with client presentations and internally with teammates.
Must be able to adhere to strict deadlines and schedules.
Ability to work directly with the client as well as other disciplines within the agency.
Directing Others: Art Studio, Project Managers, Producers, and Photographers.
Supervision Received: Supervised by CD who will review work on an ongoing basis.
Pace of Work:Usually, fast.
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
You will help determine and balance your workload against the creative standards of the agency.
Scope: Every project is different and offers a new set of challenges. This position demands the use of new avenues to solve problems in an innovative way while at the same time remaining true to each client’s brand identity and each project’s strategic objective.
Impact: As in the case in any advertising agency, our creative output is our product.
