Area Sales Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re a fast-growing company with Offices in Tokyo, Los Angeles, San Francisco and we are looking for an energetic and self-directed Area Sales Manager to be the face of our brand and expand our drinks to cafes, restaurants and grocery locations throughout Los Angeles County. We’re looking for someone who loves, people, loves sales, loves to win, loves our product, is maniacally goal-oriented, and is comfortable managing clients and key account relationships. We’re looking for a team player to represent our company in a professional, passionate, cordial and driven manner – aiming to increase availability and customer satisfaction.

Kimino is a small farm collective based out of Japan making better-for-you drinks.

Our products have been well received and we are currently selling in Japan, USA, Canada, Mexico, Korea, Hong Kong, China, Holland, France, Germany, Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, with several more countries coming in 2021.

This is an opportunity to be part of something growing very quickly, and to grow with the momentum – we’re looking for a long-term player who can grow our brand, and grow with us.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Be self-directed, sales-oriented, energetic, and brand-positive

Build relationships with our distribution partners & support them in executing sales targets throughout Los Angeles.

Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new accounts (with a focus on on-premise and off-premise),

Successfully sell and ensure placement of Kimino, ensure proper stock rotation, and handle customer inquiries.

Partner with distributors & store managers to drive successful sales & turns in accounts

Schedule and perform regular sales outreach – including cold calls and walk-ins to prospective accounts

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills (both written and in person), and a strong desire to nurture new wholesale customers

Drive scheduling & execution of local & regional events to introduce our brand and products to represent Kimino.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Preferably 3+ years Food & Beverage and Sales experience.

Knowledgeable on local café, restaurant & bar scene.

Good character, passion and energy.
