Join us for a career in sales that changes lives.A Day in the Life Promotes and sells Medtronic’s products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets in the ASC market.

Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians, nurses, ASC administrators, and practice managers.

Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic’s products and/or services.

Develop quarterly business plans.

Achieve quarterly revenue objectives in defined territory.

Collaborate and coordinate with relevant Medtronic business unit field personnel with customer support and growth objectives in the ASC setting.

Coordinate with local field team on customer, patient and surgical support required in ASC setting.

Collaborate with Marketing in developing new business opportunities through programs and product introduction to protect and grow our business in the ASC market.

Promotes and establishes education of the company’s products and/or services.

Conducts market research including customers and competitors’ activities.

Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R, Operations and Marketing Approximately 10% overnight travel required.MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree AND 5 years of sales experience with 3 of those 5 years in medical sales; or Bachelor’s Degree AND 3 years of Medtronic RTG (Pain, Brain or Spine) Clinical Specialist or Sales Rep I experience along with 2 years of additional prior clinical or medical sales experience.NICE TO HAVE: Track record of success in medical sales Operating Room / Surgical Suite experience Experience with implantable medical devices Solid understanding of managed care & reimbursement Experience in developing new, innovative markets Excels in a fast-paced competitive environment Excellent negotiation skills Build and maintain strong customer relationships Ability to navigate sales data and market reportsPHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
