The Distribution Manager is responsible for the execution of distribution and logistics operations at All Day Kitchens.
The Distribution Manager will implement and execute processes for daily distribution operations while ensuring operational excellence.
They are responsible for executing on company objectives by building and developing high-performing teams.Lead a high-performing team of distribution drivers to ensure all distribution operations are executedProvide daily supervision of assigned drivers to ensure consistent performance of dutiesRecruit, onboard, maintain the driver team to meet organizational objectivesImplement training programs for new and existing driversMaintain all driver records as well as records regarding vehicle servicing and inspectionCommunicate effectively across all departments to ensure operations flow smoothlyProtect distribution assets, drivers, and warehouse facilities, including inspecting physical conditions of the facility, vehicle fleets and equipment, and provide recommendations for maintenance, repair, or improvement as necessaryResponsible for negotiating and maintaining relationships with vendors and contractors including but not limited to our fleet of vehicles, fuel, and insuranceAnalyze key delivery metrics and continuously strive to meet KPI’sControl per delivery cost efficiency through target setting while building on operational and process improvementsPartner with Delivery Dispatcher to ensure all routes are mapped out efficiently and making sure we are optimizing our routes and vehicle usageRequirements3 years experience in food distribution and people management.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and motivational skills.Analytical problem-solving abilities, and strong familiarity with spreadsheets.Strong knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations and human resource policies.Strong knowledge of best practices for inventory control, fleet and driver management, loss prevention, quality control, productivity management, and human resource policies and procedures.BenefitsCompetitive medical, dental, and vision benefits.A delicious monthly delivery stipend.Our CommitmentAll Day Kitchens is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer, and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive team.
