Airline Sales & Marketing Manager

TRAVEL / TOURISM BACKGROUND REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION Job Description: Multi-Airline Sales & Marketing ManagerThis is not linear position, we seek a dynamic individual who brings a flexible mindset and pro-active nature.Summary: Promote airline partners to leisure and business clients.

Employ analytical, sales, marketing, social media and customer service skills to identify, assist and influence the travel decision making process.Sales DetailsPresent and market partner airlines to existing and potential clients.Generate and pursue new leads and referrals.Establish and maintain existing and potential client relationships.Pro-actively identify and address client concerns.Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.Prepare presentations and proposals for sales contracts.Communicate new opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activity to company management.Travel required to provide sales coverage throughout the region.Perform other duties, including Inside Sales, as needed.Marketing DetailsDevelop forecasts, budgets, sales & marketing plans for approval.Execution of approved budgets.Assist in the development of marketing material, press releases, etc.Develop monthly reports for airline clients.Perform other duties as needed.Job RequirementsMust be self-motivated and results-orientated.Highly developed analytical, communication, sales, negotiations and presentation skills; able to interface with all levels of an organization.Function effectively in a multitasking environment while maintaining a professional demeanor with clients, vendors and team members.Ability to work in both team and individual settings, able to exercise judgment and make decisions independently of supervisory direction.Recent and relevant sales, business development, customer service or operational experience highly desired.Travel and airline industry experience preferred.GDS experience highly desired.Attention to detail a must.Flexible mindset a must.MS Office skills a must.Experience with social media/online networking strongly desired.Relocation, visa or sponsorship is not provided.Company Background: Airline Pros is an international airline representation firm with multiple clients seeking to improve traffic/revenue from the United States market.Applicant Instructions For consideration submit a cover letter and resume.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:Travel or Tourism: 2 years (Required)Location:Los Angeles, CA (Required)
