Join the AMG team as the Senior Account Manager who will work with Target Owned Brand sourcing, product development and senior-level management to grow their footwear business.This person will be the interface between our Asia-based team and Target to coordinate and align with the day-to-day business including the management of product development, Tier 1 and 2 supply chain, merchandising and forecasting, operations and sales.They will report and be responsible to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, and manage the Account Manager who will serve as an analytical support.
Responsibilities:Defined Product Development InterfaceInterface with Target product and merchant teams in support of Product Line Managers and Category Directors to create new opportunities in the product line for Target’s Owned Brand FootwearCoordinate with AMG development personnel on meeting support and development timelineTranslate product opportunities into internal forecastsFacilitate storage and delivery of samples wherever necessary to Target Product Development StakeholdersManufacturing & OperationsBe the link between the AMG compliance team and Target corporate HQ to maintain and monitor all Responsible Sourcing activitiesView and analyze forecasting and sales data with Target to ensure adequate capacity is available for growth projections and AMG management is informedCollate customer-derived forecast into AMG internal format to delivery bi-annual forecasts to finance and operations teamsView and present forecast data to material and operations teams to ensure and manage adequate capacity and supplyServe as an escalation point between Target Inventory Analysts and Merchandise Planners for AMG operations department and their interface with Target’s Hong Kong office.Account ManagementCommunicate and present progress on key initiatives and supply chain updates to stakeholdersDevelop and evolve account strategies alongside CSMOMaintain account contacts internally and map contacts across departments into responsible, accountable, consulted and informed categories across the key functions in Target and AMG’s mutual businessManage AMG’s participation in Quarterly Business Partner meetings with Target’s Hong Kong officeServe as key coordinator for projects and problem solving in all functions of interface with Target (PSQA, Merchandise Planning, Responsible Sourcing, and other CFT functions) to resolve critical issues and advance initiativesCreate and implement 3-year Strategic Outlooks with direction from CSMO on account goals and objectivesAccompany key customer contacts during trips to AsiaAttend and present corporate updates at companywide management meetings.Attend semi-annual vendor meetings with Target HQ
