We work with large and established fashion brands as well as young entrepreneurs and new clothing designers. The environment is fast-paced and high-energy as the company is growing quickly.
Flexibility, adaptability and an upbeat, friendly nature are essential. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy Account Manager / Fashion Designer to perform the following duties:
Guiding clients through all phases of development and production, including
· Working directly w/ sketch artist, pattern maker, sample sewers to see clients? vision come to life
· Coordinating tech design
· Running client fittings to perfect samples
· Onboarding new clients
· Following up with ongoing client needs
· Performing regular customer service / check-ins
· Making sure customers are happy and their needs and dates are met
· Responding to ALL customer emails and phone calls
· Creating checklists of what clients need for sampling and production
· Making cut tickets
· Prepping cuts
· Giving the cutters proper materials, cut tickets, pattern cards and markers
· Pushing cuts through to completion
· Organizing send out orders
· Organizing marking and grading
· Managing sampling for both initial samples and dupes
· Facilitating deliveries of samples and production
· Checking TOP samples from production
· Making sure specs and tech packs stay up to date
· Managing production and sample cuts
· Managing Coordinator(s)
Qualifications:
· Extremely organized, detail-oriented and trust-worthy
· Working understanding of pattern making and garment construction
· Flexible, adaptable and upbeat attitude
· Excellent team player
· Excellent time management skills
· Excellent writing and communication skills
· High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a major plus)
