Overview: This role serves as the primary business contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction. The Account Manager is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure member satisfaction. This position is equally responsible for group retention and growth. This person will have high energy and be prepared to assist in attending various public opportunities such as health fairs or local community events. Responsibilities: Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution Monthly meeting with client contact and or contact representative Insures that client issues are handled in an efficient manner Attends health fairs and enrollment meetings Trains the Customer Service Representative on an as needed basis Serves as a Liaison between Client and Dental Care Provider Reports weekly on all account activity Manage the renewal process with existing clients, including developing renewal strategy, negotiating rates and benefits Provides two-way communications between dental plan and client to provide strong representation and set proper client expectations. Follows up on outstanding unsigned contracts Strong organizational/time management and multi – tasking abilities Support marketing, sales and client activities as needed Strong presentation and public speaking skills Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years – experience in the healthcare industry California Department of Insurance Licensure required Excellent oral and written communications skills Bilingual a plus but not necessary Proficient in Microsoft office programs
