Account Manager

The Who

Back in 1988, our founders had an ambitious dream to form the largest independent travel specialist in the world and to set the example of how touring and travel should be done.

The belief that travel is one of the most emotive experiences you undertake and our ambition to make this experience the absolute best it can be for the traveller, has become the guiding principle for TAG.

We believe that through a bespoke, high-touch, personal service we can alleviate the stress and complexity of travel, meaning whether it is a business meeting to close a deal, an event to meet industry peers or a gig for 50,000 screaming fans, we will get our clients to where they need to be feeling ready to take on the world.

The Why

At TAG experience matters.

We understand the stresses of managing travel and we want to make this experience as simple, efficient and enjoyable as possible.

As an Account Manager your purpose will be to delight our clients.

You will be an extension of their team, helping to resolve issues, delivering excellent service and pro-actively improving their travel program.

Your ability to build long lasting relationships and a genuine passion for the client’s business will shine through in all you do.

You should want to continually improve and elevate the experience of clients and travelers engaging with TAG and our brand.

The What

As a TAG Corporate Account Manager you will be responsible for the strategic management of a select portfolio of accounts.

You will identify growth opportunities to increase revenue streams aligned to their business goals and ensure client retention.
Portfolio Management: You will manage several client accounts, being the face of TAG for those clients.

We pride ourselves on long lasting, trusting relationships – your clients will come to think of you as a member of their team.
Client liaison: You are the client’s link into TAG.

Through continuous coordination and interaction between key representatives, other members of the TAG support team, and third-party travel providers and suppliers you will ensure that all issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
Strategic Business Planning: Develop, implement and manage the strategic business plan, which includes: engaging clients in identifying mutual program goals; constantly demonstrating TAG’s value to the customer; proactively managing and fulfilling contractual goals with the client; evaluating and revising the business plan to address performance goals.
Profitability and Financial Management: Maintain an in-depth understanding of client’s and company’s supplier contracts and ensure contractual commitments are met.

Managing and executing the client’s corporate travel program by using this knowledge to develop negotiation strategies
MI and monthly statements: Compile and provide MI reporting monthly, quarterly, and annually as required, then review, analyze client data, and present strategic recommendations on an ongoing basis.

Working with finance you will prepare monthly statements for your client portfolio
Supporting Business Development: Whilst retention is a key part of the role, you will also actively support our Sales colleagues by participating in in Best and Final sales presentations, when required.
