Media.Monks is a global Creative Production partner that works with some of the coolest clients on the planet, and we’re looking for an Account Director to join our New York team.

Role:

Our team is recruiting a talented Account Director for one of our biggest Global clients.

This position is a leadership role that sets the tone, pace and ways of working, while driving client partnerships.

Our ideal candidate will weigh and balance client needs with company ambitions to determine the vision, and then make sure everyone is clear on that vision and how to get there.

We’re looking for an energetic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who’s comfortable taking on different tasks and solving problems—and can do it all while bringing a positive spark to people’s lives.

We are looking for a leader who has: 

  • a strong understanding of digital marketing, including marketing strategy, practices and principles
  • experience as a strategic partner; who understands the client’s brand and business inside out, and will develop and oversee a roadmap for continued success
  • demonstrated a successful ability to execute large-scale marketing strategies and programs
  • the experience to make thoughtful decisions–whether it’s related to people management, team development, client and agency relationship, or internal process–with foresight and follow through
  • revenue growth acumen; is able to look after business planning and development to ensure targets and KPIs are met, identifies opportunities for new work that add overall value to the company
  • a clear communication style to team, creative agency and clients; is a natural diplomat with the ability to gather information and push back while maintaining positive relationships
  • a comfort level working autonomously and is able to resolve or escalate issues appropriately
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills

Responsibilities will include: 

  • responsibility for overall client satisfaction, quality of service, and on-time, on-budget completion of the agency’s services
  • overseeing all aspects of the program deliverables from briefing and development to final approval, working in close collaboration with internal producers, creative and technical partners. 
  • looking beyond the day-to-day needs of a large account, ensuring the use of effective processes across the team and long-term stability
  • excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and prioritizing appropriately
  • building and maintaining key relationships with agency partners and clients

Your experience will include: 

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategy and execution , including film and content production
  • Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale marketing strategies and programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously and able to resolve or escalate issues appropriately
  • Ability to work calmly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • 7+ years experience working on either the client side or agency side (preferably both)

At this time, all positions are exclusively work from home due to COVID-19.

Once the company decides to resume normal office operations, your time will be spent in our offices, though frequency is subject to change based on business needs and general health and safety considerations.
