Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Art Director to join an in-house creative, content and production agency working on a national brand.As a Senior Art Director you will have strong creative skills, be comfortable taking projects from brief to completion, and provide new ideas and creativity while working closely with the client’s brand guidelines.
You’ll also be comfortable pushing boundaries and thinking conceptually about new initiatives.Reporting to the Creative Director, you will work closely as part of our team designing and producing a variety of materials.
In the day to day, you’ll be executing great work creating social creative, video storyboards, banner ads, email marketing, and more with an understanding of visual development for campaigns and brands, and production of print collateral in various forms for marketing.This role is currently remote but will move into a hybrid model, when safe to do so.
Responsibilities:Collaborate on producing beautiful and innovative designs for website, mobile, banners, video and social as well as print to define campaignsResponsibility for the full design lifecycle from concept to executionCreate and manage scalable design systems and components to drive consistency and effectiveness across mediumsOverseeing and managing the preparation of all finished files that will comply with the correct output specifications?Effectively manage workloads within agreed timelinesSupervise and mentor Junior Designers to help develop their creative abilitiesProactively monitor artwork quality, accuracy and consistencyWhat you need to be great in this role: 5-7 years of work experience that demonstrates impeccable craft and command of creative concepts, visual concepts, and design across a variety of projects.The ability to take projects from concept to completion, with a history of translating strategic thinking into compelling, visual ideas.Able to gather feedback judiciously but know when to follow guidelines/visionUnderstand how to work on a range of designs within brand guidelines while utilizing modern aestheticsDeep knowledge & production experience with integrated and digital campaigns.A strong understanding and general skills around motion graphics and video.Persuasive communication and presentation skillsExcellent Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) skills as well as Sketch.
AE and PremierPro experience a bonus.
