02 Denny’s Inc.: Field Marketing Manager

This position is responsible for the implementation and the execution of the Marketing Strategy for approximately 300 Denny’s restaurants.

This position is accountable for executing the plan to achieve Sales and Traffic goals.

Essential Functions (Key Responsibilities)Provides clear communication of national marketing programs and local marketing initiatives to company operators and franchisees.Implements and executes extensions of national programs for seamless implementation.Implements and executes advertising and promotional ideas to stem sales/traffic declines and leverage local opportunities.Guides creative, manages the execution and follows through on all local media/marketing plans.Leverages available data, key insights and creative thinking to build the brand at the local level.Identifies, initiates a dialogue and partners with local cross-promotional business opportunities.Stewards trusted business relationships with franchisees, internal cross-functional teams and outside agency peers.Implements existing and/or creates new marketing programs and executes across opportunity areas.Partners with finance to develop analysis of LSM and gleans learnings to guide future programs.Aggregates competitive intelligence related to product, promotion and price.Works with Sr.

Manager to execute local store marketing plans.Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience RequirementsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.Experience:4 7 years of field marketing experience in restaurant or retail industry at the corporate or agency level.
