TRUCK DRIVER- LOCAL CLASS A HARBOR

$25 Per Hour plus OT pay |Local Class A Harbor Driver |Torrance, CA

Description:

Class A Harbor Driver needed to pull containers out of the Ports of Long Beach & Los Angeles for our Torrance, CA location.  This position is no touch freight, and driver will safely transport hazardous & non-hazardous container loads from the ports back to the yard.

Driver will be required to perform Pre/Post inspections on equipment tractor/ container, and make sure manifest matches the proper hazmat placards before operating.

Shift:   4pm Shift Monday-Friday

Weekends Off & Home Daily

 

Job Requirements:

23 years of age or older

Valid Class A license  (Hazmat optional)

Valid Medical Card & TWIC Card

1year tractor/ trailer experience within the past 3 years.

1 year or more Class A experience harbor experience within the past 3 years

Driver may not exceed any combination of 2 moving violations or preventable accidents on their MVR in the past 36 months.

NO DUI’S / NO Reckless Driving in the last 5 years.
