Job Description DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE, RESPOND TO THIS AD ONLY JOB DESCRIPTION: DRIVER / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Reports to: Shop Operations Manager Hours: M-F 6am – 2:30pm (may vary at discretion of Managers) Shop Location: El Segundo, CA Jobsite Locations: Varies Job Responsibilities for Driver / Maintenance Technician: Load, unload and secure goods and materials in the trucks without damaging Make deliveries and pick-ups in a timely manner while obeying all traffic laws Operate the forklift safely Report delivery delays and respond to Supervisor’s communications in a timely manner Take the lead on facility, equipment, and tool maintenance projects Assist with wood or metal projects in the shop or on construction site Conduct monthly fire extinguisher inspections Track and/or inventory the following: dumpster and scrap container fill levels, forklift propane stock, all-shop consumable items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle (s), the shipping and receiving area and other areas of the shop Breakdown cardboard, sweep the shop and take out the trash daily Clean and maintain the common areas of the shop when all other duties are completed Assisting wood or metal shop with ongoing production Job Requirements for Driver / Maintenance Technician: Able to sit or stand for long periods Communicates in a professional manner Uses a personal phone for email, text, calls and navigation during work hours (partial reimbursement based on company policy) Able to start early and work late on occasion, with little notice Able lift 50lbs safely Able to provide a current DMV driving record Must have a valid license and auto insurance if using a personal or company vehicle during work hours Interest in wood or metal shop production helpful BENEFITS: Marmol Radziner offers a benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, life and paid holidays and personal time.
