Responsible for conducting and documenting moderate to complex data analysis projects. Also responsible for planning and implementing projects that drive efficiency and quality within the Revenue Services department. Ideal candidate must be able to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data using Access, Excel, SQL, and VBA and then be able to provide answers to business questions and billing issues found through analyzing the data. Primary Responsibilities: Manipulate, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data using Access, Excel, SQL, and VBA Automate processes and reports Recognize inefficiencies in processes (operational or technical) Design solutions to address billing issues Pull ad hoc reports from various billing systems Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and quality Data mining for advanced analysis of data presented in reports for management Analyze insurance medical billing denials to identify trends Recommend solutions to decrease bad debt and increase cash for receivables from laboratory tests Assist Billing department in the resolution of billing issues Provide feedback to Senior Management regarding contractual issues impacting Revenue Services Collaborate with other business units and departments on analysis projects You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
