Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.

Treasury Management includes managing and optimizing our customers’ cash flow and mitigating its operational, financial, and Reputational risk.  We focus on creating operating efficiencies, cost savings and time savings for our customers by delivering treasury solutions through a consultative approach.

Experienced sales consultant position responsible for development and retention of TM business for an assigned customer base, geographic area, market segment or series of product lines. This position partners with relationship managers in a consultative selling role and is responsible for meeting annual sales activity targets by developing and executing strategy to retain and fully penetrate existing relationships.  Develops sales plans for territory and key customer accounts and analyzes customer needs.  Provides training on TM products and services to relationship managers as needed.  Increased autonomy in managing assigned territory, requiring minimal assistance from management.  Actively shares knowledge and market experience with peers, less experienced team members and is a participant in TM initiatives.  May also be responsible for mentoring less experienced sales consultants.

Salary offered dependent on location.  May be considered for a discretionary bonus

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, business development, or treasury management
  • 7+ years of business-to-business sales experience or treasury management experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to deliver dynamic presentations to business clients
  • An active Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation
  • A BS/BA degree or higher

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
