ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft has a small number of customers we categorize as Strategic.

These combine some of the largest companies in the world with some of the most innovative organizations.

As a Strategic Account Executive you are at the pinnacle of what we expect from a leader who can drive transformational impact to the customer and be the ultimate representative of the customers needs to orchestrate all the resources made available to these special accounts.

You will deliver year-over-year business growth and long term gowth planning for revenue and usage growth and digital transformation driven impact to your Strategic customers.

This specific role is ideally based In San Francisco or Los Angeles and will cover one of our Media Entertainment & Gaming accounts.

– Lead with Industry
– Building trusted relationships through engagements focused on driving the customer’s desired business outcomes using Microsoft technologies Transformation Leader
– Deliver the customers business and technology outcomes reliably.

Continue to lead Digital Transformation discussions with customers through best in class virtual engagements.  Account Team Leader
– Orchestrating and coordinating the team, ensuring that the best of Microsoft and our partners is brought to bear to help our customers deliver their business goals.  M&E and Gaming is an industry going through huge transformation – and Microsoft is perfectly poised to help these customers with their own digital transformations at a time when Microsoft is partnering and investing deeply in industry specialization.

This role will also be an active member and contributor to the WW M&E and Gaming Industry Strategy team as one of the Strategic Account Executives with a large Gaming customer.Success is measured by:Quota achievement for both revenue and usage/consumption metrics – 1 year and 3 year horizonsDevelopment of impactful customerBusiness Decision Maker (BDM) and Information Technology Decision Maker (ITDM) relationshipsDemonstrate clear digital transformation impact at your customer and through industry contribution Balanced business scorecard metrics as defined by fiscal year commitmentsGreat teaming and leadership to drive a strong virtual team culture across the specialist, services, engineering and customer success teams engaged with your customerQualificationsExperiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge 5+ years of building strategic business partnerships through selling or consulting with enterprise customers.

Equally considered will be 5+ years of experience driving digital transformation from within the enterprise customer Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred; or equivalent experience Experience in influence-without-authority (networking / orchestration with 50+ internal and external people) in global environments Demonstrated ability to understand how to run business and commercial models (including, but not limited to, portfolio management, P&L ownership, business planning)  Embody “we-before-me” mindsetIndustry experience of M&E and/or Gaming is highly preferredGUIDANCE: Knowledge, skills, and abilities Strategy development with multi-phase execution and delivery Background in large-scale, multi-year enterprise change management Executive communications, engagement and influence Knowledgeable of the Microsoft partner ecosystem and programs Standard language for what is means to join Microsoft Core responsibilities Develop landing plan including field onboarding, partner disclosure, readiness, and execution Ensure subsidiary business owners of transformation pillars (commerce, co-sell, membership) incorporate changes within their respective planning and execution for positive business outcomes Determine core transformation stakeholders, define R&R, scope and role criteria and accountabilities Create disclosure and onboarding/transition plans to prioritize efforts with stakeholders, partner account teams, support, operations Drive attainment of local subsidiary change mgt KPIs/scorecard results Participate within the partner transformation community, share learnings, best practicesMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
