SEEKING PHOTO, VIDEO, AND SALES FOR TRAVELING DANCE COMPETITIONS across the US (MUST BE BASED IN LA)
A Cut Above The Rest Productions is looking for people to travel with us doing photo, video and/or sales.
We are currently working with dance competitions and traveling with them every weekend to shoot their competitions and sell our photos and videos to the dancers and parents.
It’s nothing elaborate, it’s a very simple 1 video camera shoot.
The photographer takes action shots and the sales people set up a booth for parents to preview and order their photos.
We send 3/4 crew members to each event.
We get in early in case of delayed flights/missing equipment, early start times.
The pay is different depending on how many work days you have.
Each event is a different size and a different schedule.
You get paid $50 a day for flying, $150/day for work, and a $25 food stipend
Typical 1 Day events you fly out on Friday and fly back on Monday (For one day events you do get the extra day to explore the city)
Most 2 day and 3 day events you leave on Thursday and fly back Monday.
1 Day events average $325 a weekend
2 Day events average $475 a weekend
3 Day events average $625 a weekend
If you are interested in being a team lead the rates are as follows (Must have worked at least 4 events prior and show leadership quality and knowledge of each position)
1 Day events average $375 a weekend
2 Day events average $625 a weekend
3 Day events average $775 a weekend
A typical full work day will run from 7am-10pm.
Some days are longer and some are shorter, but the task at hand is a simple one and we train everyone to do everything so people can have breaks.
However, you usually will have one primary position as either videographer, photographer or sales.
We will also provide all equipment.
Depending on how well we do in sales, there is always the possibility of everyone leaving with a bonus on top of your rate.
All flights, rental cars and hotel are paid.
We try to carpool our crew to and from the airport if possible, or find a place for you to park your car, which the company will pay for.
Meals are paid for on shoot days.
Lunch will be delivered to your event during the day and dinner may be delivered as well if the event goes past 6pm.
For breakfast and travel days, there is a $25 stipend a weekend included in the above pay.
A contract is required for this position, as we will be purchasing non-refundable airfare, and we are depending on your availability and commitment to each event you chose.
We are looking for people to fill openings starting the end of January and have every weekend available until mid-May.
