Loan Servicing Representative

POSITION SUMMARY Responsible to provide support and assistance within the lending department, specifically for the Business Lending and Church Lending Teams; may also provide support within the other teams in the lending function of the credit union.

Provide professional and superior service to internal and external members/clients/teams.

Assist loan officers and credit analysts with all aspects of the lending process from origination, underwriting processing and servicing of loans.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Provide effective support for all phases of business and church loan processes and servicing.

Assist with due diligence required for church loans to ready for closing.

Assist with servicing and follow-up of loan accounts as required, including, but not limited to: rate changes, insurance and collateral tracking, loan covenant tracking, site visit tracking, financial statement tracking, responding to member/client inquiries, system maintenance of loans, and other duties as needed or required.

Serve as a backup for business loan documents for processing in accordance with all established policies, procedures and regulations (LaserPro); e-mail LaserPro (Finastra) activity report monthly.

Order required appraisals for business / Church loans from established vendors.

Business and church loan file review to track compliance to internal/external policies, procedures and regulations: Review new business and church loan documents for compliance Ensure all mortgages are recorded and UCCs are filed in a timely manner Record and report findings to management and board of directors quarterly Maintain order and sequence of the files for document imaging Follow-up on any document/loan exceptions with the loan officer(s) Assist with HMDA reporting and in processing due diligence of business loan modifications.

Assist with booking new business loans on CUBase and church loans on Precision LM.

Record minutes for business loan committee meetings.

Assist with business and church loan participations and loan sales.

Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective and professional business relationships as well as effective coordination and communication with both internal and external members / clients.

Assist Senior Credit Analyst and VP Revenue Lending with administrative tasks.

Responsible for related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS Education High school graduate or equivalent Understanding of credit union products and services Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures Knowledge of credit union’s credit processes and policies.
