Sales Account Executive for contemporary fashion (women’s, lux)

FashionLink is a multi-brand fashion distributor and importer seeking a motivated, energetic Account Executive with several years of wholesale sales experience in women’s wholesale fashion to join our team.

Based in Los Angeles the potential candidates should have relevant industry experience and be comfortable working in a fast paced, busy environment.

We specialize in contemporary European women’s fashion, selling to upscale specialty stores across the US. The showroom is based in the fashion district of Downtown Los Angeles and we distribute throughout the USA.

ESSENTIALS:

  • Several years wholesale experience in contemporary / better women’s fashion
  • Previous sales experience with a proven track record in women’s apparel a must. Existing relationships with upscale boutiques preferred
  • A strong understanding of merchandising and the fashion market
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Proficient in basic computer skills email, Microsoft Excel and Word etc.
  • Knowledge of the women’s contemporary and / or luxury market with established relationships
  • Reliable
  • Career oriented and looking for a long-term position in a stable company

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining and growing the existing client base and building new client relationships
  • Presenting the collections in the showroom, virtually, at trade shows and / or “on the road” (as needed).
  • Verbal and written solicitation for appointments, sales calls etc
  • Provide impeccable customer service

Must be flexible to work extended hours when required during trade shows and / or peak periods

Some travel required (primarily travelling to participate in NY and regional markets)

COMPENSATION:

Salary plus commission.
