Position Summary
The Internal Sales Associate works in partnership with TCWs external Regional Sales Consultants to source, develop and enhance financial advisor relationships in the National & Independent Broker-Dealer channels. The incumbent will communicate with financial professionals on a wide range of investment related topics including: portfolio process & philosophy, positioning, outlook, risk metrics, performance and related capital market developments. This position provides the opportunity to learn a broad array of investment products and strategies, as well as, further develop sales skills. The successful incumbent will receive increasing prospecting and sales responsibilities overtime in an effort to enhance territory coverage and net new business.
Essential Duties
- Partner with external wholesalers to optimize and grow territory coverage & market share.
- Conduct proactive outbound service & sales initiatives to raise awareness of TCW offerings, build relationships, and meet external partner & firm objectives.
- Respond to inbound information & service communications.
- Serve as a liaison between external wholesalers and financial advisor constituents
- Fulfill literature requests, marketing campaigns and ad hoc reporting
- Participate in ongoing professional development & training
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- Series 7 & 63 Licenses highly preferred
- 1 – 3 years financial services experience (customer service or sales preferred)
- A working understanding of the capital markets & financial instruments
