Digital Account Executive

The Digital Account Executive will be responsible for directly selling and developing digital campaigns for a designated region or category for the LA Times.

RESPONSIBILITIES: * Proactively prospect, qualify, grow, and maintain a vertical/ territory account list* Develop and maintain strategic advertising partnerships and sponsorship opportunities with Clients and Advertisers* Effectively sell into LAT?s full portfolio of products ?

display, video, mobile, sponsored content, DMS, and event marketing* Present the Los Angeles Times and demonstrate our value proposition to Clients and Agencies* Develop campaign proposals and strategic business plans to meet Client needs and Sales Goals* Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets* Effectively interface with Planners, Creative Teams, Marketing and Ad Ops to communicate digital sales priorities and collaborate on solution-oriented and executable campaigns* Stay current with Digital advertising trends, innovations, and solutions REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONSCandidates must have a deep understanding of Advertising markets and the Digital industry.

Must also have a proven track record of success in driving revenue through the development of strategic/ consultative relationships in Digital sales.

* Bachelor?s Degree Required* Online advertising/ digital media sales experience with brand/ agency, direct advertisers and affiliates* Experience prospecting, pitching, and closing accounts* Experience managing a portfolio of client accounts* Excellent organizational and customer service skills* Welcomes new challenges, enjoys learning and can work effectively in a team environment* Strong interest and passion in the digital space and understanding of digital business model* Strong presentation and communication skills both written and verbal* Demonstrate self-direction and ability to work both autonomously and among peers* Experience working in a deadline-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail* Must be able to collaborate with and influence peers* Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office products Job Type: Full-time Education: * Bachelor’s (Required)
