The Sales Account Executive
– Specialty Sales, Latin is responsible for maximizing revenues and market share with Delta Air Lines and partner carriers.

Primary responsibilities:

Maintaining and managing commercial relationships, contract negotiation and program implementation

Frequent participation in local, West Coast and US events targeting the US Hispanic Community promoting Delta & Delta-AeroMexico’s brands

Maintenance of sales agreements with key customers, providing exceptional support

Performance evaluation, providing recommendations for improvement with sales development

Interfacing with Specialty Sales General Manager and sales development’s team in formulating sales strategies and programs

Responsible for orchestrating team selling with Travel Agency Sales, JV partners and Sales Support Center

Planning account strategies based on Specialty Sales goals and objectives

Submitting weekly sales plans and activity reports to assigned manager in support of assigned accounts

Managing all sales collateral materials and tools including e-NCI dollars that support revenue growth

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related fields preferred or relevant airline sales experience

Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is required

Should possess a strong orientation towards sales and understand how to create and maintain profitable business relationships with assigned accounts

Excellent interpersonal and business decision making skills are required

Must possess strong aptitude in written and verbal communications, negotiating, time management, organizational, planning, and presentation skills

Must be available to work additional hours and/or days as needed (including nights and weekends)

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Must be able to travel extensively to support assigned accounts

Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision in a virtual office environment

Must be performing satisfactorily in current position

Position to be based in Los Angeles, CA.
