CLAIMS EXAMINER 1
– Banamex USAStrong written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish RequiredDescription: Primary duty is to handle the processing, investigating and resolving incoming credit, debit and ATM cards dispute.Responsible for processing.

Investigating and resolving incoming payment and interest fee disputes.Responsible for reviewing transactions referred by Special Services (Fraud) and Account Management (collection)to attempt recovery through chargebacks.Conducts thorough investigation of card members inquiries or disputes and researches the facts to determine the best resolution.Ensures customer satisfaction is maintained while simultaneously protecting the bank assets by determining loss liability and ensuring all documentation is obtained to support and preserve chargeback rights.Determine loss liability and take the necessary action to assign losses appropriately between the bank, Merchant or Customer.Understanding of bank policy, legal guidelines and chargeback rights is required.Follow correct procedures, processing guidelines, system requirements and financial services compliance requirements.Makes decisions on the level of investigation activity to be taken on an account.

Sound judgment must be exercised when determining financial liability for disputed charges.General Accounting skills required for balancing debits and credits.Other responsibilities include daily credit card cash activity CTR (Currency Transaction Report) monitoring, and loan advance.Qualifications/Job Skills: Preferred candidate would have a Bankcard system and investigation experienceStrong organization skills proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work.Strong written and oral communication skills in English and SpanishShould be a self-starter and organized, and must have the ability to work independently, with minimal supervisionExcellent attention to detail and follow-up skillsIn some instances, outbound calling to the clients will be required so the candidate must possess well developed verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to quickly detect and correct instances of miscommunication or misunderstanding,Strong research skills, advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with the Internet and on-line research systems.Follow clearly established and defined procedures and know when to escalate for higher review.Demonstrates initiative , process improvements and teamworkPreferably a College Education.Banamex USA: CLAIMS EXAMINER 1
