Cargo Service Airline Representative

Position: Cargo Service Airline Representative 

Location: Los Angeles International Airport

Working Hour: 8 hours/day shifts, include weekends and holidays 

Hourly Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 

FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt, full-time 

OVERVIEW: 

A global airline company is looking for a Cargo Service Representative in Los Angeles International Airport. This position ensures all operations is meeting airline regulations by supervising third party cargo handlers.  +2 years of cargo operations experience is required. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

  • Monitor Cargo operation to make sure all operation is compliant with airline and government regulations such as TSA and CBP. 
  • Process all necessary cargo documents and applications. 
  • Provide timely and effective service to international cargo customers. 
  • Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure efficient and on-time operation. 
  • Ensure safety of loading/unloading of aircraft operations. 
  • Troubleshoot problems and escalate any issues to supervisor. 
  • Support overall import/export function, as necessary. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 2+ years experience in the air cargo industry 
  • Associate Degree required
  • Available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays 
  • Proficient in MS Office
