Business Development – Inside Sales – Aerospace

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Development -Inside Salesperson is responsible for developing new customer leads and following up on and maintaining existing customer satisfaction activities at Superior Thread Rolling Co. Inc. Incumbent will create Sales Leads and nurture existing customer relationships with the intent of increasing manufacturing and Thread Roll Services revenues. This position will require knowledge of Aerospace Machined parts and related manufacturing and thread rolling processes. The position works to broad policies and objectives that require considerable independent judgment, confidence, and initiative. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle from developing leads to customer satisfaction surveys and analysis. This individual will work closely alongside our Estimating Departments to provide the customer with the best experience during the bid process.  In addition, this person will identify and act upon areas of needed improvement and be willing to assist with all other sales and estimating activities.

SCOPE:

The incumbent is primarily concerned with the generation and tracking of “Make Complete” work that aligns with our current strategy to increase Manufacturing Revenues. This position will also be responsible for follow up of thread roll service quotes and the generation of new Thread Roll opportunities. The key areas of performance are:

  • Develop new Leads
  • Quote Presentations
  • Quote Follow-up
  • Customer Satisfaction surveys
  • Long Term Agreement Management
